So this morning I jumped onto a red eye flight from Brisbane heading down to Adelaide, to meet up with my mates and celebrate my bday 🎉🎉.
Once I landed I picked up our VANwilder which will be our 12 seater van for the next 5 days. And thought I should quickly go for a explore before I pick everyone up in the morning.
So Renee and I head out to check out a local waterfall in Morialta.
The bush is full of gumtrees so this is the perfect spot to see a koala in the wild.
On the walk I was constantly looking up into the tree's to try and spot a koala. And this one eucalyptus tree we were in luck!
This guy was just chilling having a nap, as koalas sleep 18 to 22 hours a day so no surprise he was asleep.
I was super stoked to see one in the wild. It gave me hope that our wildlife can co exist with us humans.
Well tomorrow the adventure begins as we pick everyone up early, then make our way to Port Lincoln for some bday celebrations and cage diving with great white sharks 🦈🦈
Fingers crossed we get to see some 🤞🤞
