'Green Dog'

I took a photo of this sculpture mainly because of its positioning. The dog is raised from the ground and appearing as if flying in mid-air. It has no head. I found that level of weirdness quite unpleasing, to be honest. That takes us to the green colour.

The green colour is quite often used to underline poison gasses or the otherwise unfriendly environment. If not used as a part of nature, of course. Here we have a mix that supports the above claim. It appears quite normal and welcome on the plants, while not so pleasing at all when reflected from the white dog.

I think you can feel this example of green colour used to create mixed feelings.

Enjoy! :)

Headless dog, I never saw, moreover green color! Really amazing!
I saw your photography on wls too. You always share unique and interesting things!

thank you :)

I've seen other posters promoting in their posts various communities and persons as witnesses, but what I liked (most) about your post was that you mentioned a number of other posters, mentioning what type of posts they make.

I like this idea so much, I just might use it, if you do not mind, for promoting writers, artists and others whose posts I find interesting.

If we all did so, it would make Steemit so much more interesting.

please do use it, no problem :)

Thanks.

It's certainly very strange and disturbing, @velimir! Especially for the idea of color and shape that has the animal. It's one thing to find old sculptures without arms or head, and it's quite another to see that they were purposely built that way. I am almost certain that there is a symbology behind the image of the headless dog. Interesting publication. Greetings

i suppose there is :)

This is really weird photo of a dog! I did notice that the dog's head could not be found, I thought it was turning the other way. I thought it was a real dog because of the lighting! Then you said it was a sculpture in green light.

Crazy effect on my vision and perception! Very uncomfortable feeling of being haunted by this white flying dog.

Good one!

thank you for your contribution :) it is quite uncomfortable, indeed!

Look my graffiti art work

I love the lighting in this photo velimir. It could be an album cover.

every photo has its own life

true that

Very nice @velimir ... Blessings

Nice , look my art work :)

A really strange sculpture, @velimir. Where do you get these things? hahaha! The legs are deformed, the head is not proportional to the body, it is an amorphous figure. But valuing the photo, I like the contrast of green colors behind the white, it seems to me, seeing it well, that the figure is superimposed on the green, as if it did not belong to the composition, but that it is put on purpose. Well, your photos are for thinking about, reviewing, imagining, I love this exercise. Today I arrived late, but I couldn't stop coming to your blog. Greetings, my friend.
