Adobe Lightroom

in photography •  6 years ago

My friend @tijntje introduced me into Adobe Lightroom, a photo-editting piece of software whith some great options. I was just playing around a bit to see it's capabilities and they are massive. If I recall correct @eveuncovered also uses lightroom for her great pictures.

I am at the total rookielevel, but I think Lightroom and me are going to be big friends :)

But as I said, I have to discover the program :) More to come.....

Have a great day

Have fun exploring this great program, i know i am!!

You are incorrect, I strictly use Photoshop, though did try to get on with Lightroom at some point but just ended up hating it.

Ok, sorry. I thought you did use it. My bad.. :)

No worries, they both do the same things, Lightroom is just more complex, and heavy for even my MacBook that should be able to handle pretty intense programs.

Even for a MacBook, that's indeed heavy then. I have it running on my laptop and it runs quiet well as far as I can see now. Must admit not using the real deal settings yet, now only using the presets just to see some results and to see what it does to a picture..

Very nice! Most of my photo editing is really simple so I usually just use Irfanview. I have been using it for years and even more so now that I am blogging. I can do batch resizing and all kinds of cool stuff. I also have access to a full version of Photo Shop Elements but it is usually more more intense than I really need.

I use photoshop sometimes too, but for the things I use it is to much options hahaha.... Irfanview... I have used that to way back.... For resizing it is great !!
