how empty can be an emptiness. Ethiopia trip.

empiness and wilderness.
somehow remind me my childhood in Kazahstan when we traveled to far places and during a weeks we were cut off from civilization - cars, electricity and i even dont talk about phones. how long we can stay today in this sort of disconnection. a couple of hours ?

Nice landscapes! Being without modern tech is difficult but absolutely necessary to experience, keeps things real and grounded.

thank you for the kind feedback.

I guess to really answer this question you have to spend a night in a tent in one of those locations and feel how small you actually are. Great shots.

absolutely right David. you did almost same in the smalk yacht during your trip some time ago !! thank you for the kind words

Well not exactly, with just water around you certainly feel helpless, but this in your image it is complete desolation..

i still was with my useful smartphone in my hand, i used it only for photography together with Hasselblad film and digital camera but i had a zero phone and data connection there.

Not much use of a phone then, right, just as a camera, with no connection :)
