Brahma Kamal
Saussurea obvallata is a species of flowering plant in the Asteraceae. It is native to the Himalayas and Uttarakhand, India, northern Burma and southwest China. In the Himalayas, it is found at an altitude of around 4500 m.
They have large pure white star-like flowers with lovely fragrance to help their pollinators locate the blossoms by moon or star light. Bramha-kamal is commonly known as Night Blooming Cereus, Queen of the Night, Lady of the evening as its beautiful Lotus like flower blooms late night.
