It is a saber of the 17th century, the main weapon of a Turkish soldier of that time. This saber was found by my friend using a metal detector. The saber was found in the forest in the North Caucasus, these territories in the 16th and 17th centuries were under the protectorate of the Ottoman Empire. Probably at that time one of the Turkish horsemen lost their weapons while visiting the forest, and my friend found it after 300 years. The saber is very strong and if it is properly cleaned of rust it will turn out to be a very beautiful object.

Oh sure. Loose rust must necessarily be removed from the object otherwise it will destroy all iron
