How DAP painter "paints"steemCreated with Sketch.

Here on youtube you can follow how this fantastic software "paints" my photo:

this is a fragment of what you see onscreen

To make this van gogh art from the original photo which is below, it is simple: open the photo in DAP painter and let it run one of the presets, in this case "vangogh1".
Then sit back and relax and watch your computer screen: DAP actually "paints" the art live!
This alone is worth the program

I made a screen video of this proces to be seen here:

It is indeed!

I have only touched the surface of the possibilities yet!

Yesterday, delving a bit deeper into the manual, I found out that it is possible to tweak the program to your wishes. This looks a bit difficult, you can than even design your own brushes!

But so far I stayed with the presets:
I downloaded a picture of an old omnibus from pixabay and transformed it into a drawing: Amazing result! If you would only see the drawn version you would really believe this was a drawing made by a 13 year old schoolboy, found in an old sketchbook from the 1940's I think!
In this case I did not tweak anything, just used the preset felttip pen. Can you imagine what the result will be when you do some corrections in a paintprogram!

Agree, it certainly looks like a schoolboy drawing.
I'm playing around with the trial version still but tried to use some more features. With the basis of a photo I took I applied "sargent" preset and followed up with "soft reveal brush" under the retouch tab to get a bit more details of the cows heads and it worked very well.
I've made the decision to buy the license solely to print a "painting" to hang on my wall :)

Nice work!

Maybe you can earn back your investment by selling some 'paintings" to people.

For instance make a nice shot of their house or garden, and sell them a nice print for their wall.

I am sure it will work!

Aw this is an awesome programme looks fun to use

Interested application,,, thanks for share.....@vjbasil

@vjbasil very beautiful a photograph. Does this DAP work like an application on a phone?

Stay blessed
