Photo turned into painting #5

Every year, on the first day of the year, the 1st of january, we go somewhere to drink something in the afternoon and eat a little snack: bitterballen (a typical Dutch snack )

This year we went to the same spot as last year, namely "de Waag" here in Amsterdam.
This is a very old building used in the old days for trad, but now it is turned into a rather nice café / restaurant.

The atmosphere in this café is rather relaxed and not so very tourist like as one would expect on a hotspot like this.
A lot of Amsterdam residents like us frequent the place anyway.

When we went outside it just turned to evening.
The light was beutiful and when looking back I could not resist to take a shot of this building, feeling like a tourist in my own city...

Once home I wondered how it would look as a painting made by the computer, so I put it into DAP and this is the result:
