January snow again in my Japanese rock garden

The game of Nature is sometimes amazing: at this time of the year it is supposed to be about 50 cm of snow on my mountain. Nature however has other plans.Up until yesterday it was 10 Degrees Celsius.

I cannot help myself but to wonder ( again and again) how little effort from each of us "inhabitants of the Earth" on everyday basis could contribute a lot in saving the environment we inhabit. Alas that never ending story reaches far to little of us...
