some flowers for spring.

in photography •  7 years ago  (edited)

The calendar may say it's spring but not much is happening unless you look carefully. I've got the sprouts of some tulips in my garden. I think I spotted a crocus at the park. I also photographed a flower who's name I do not know the other day. I had to take it's picture though as it was the first flower I saw this spring.

Soon there will be life everywhere again. The weather will be warmer. The days will be longer. I will be longing to get back into nature and take another backpacking trip.

As you can see I like to apply various effects to my pictures. Let me know what you think.

Nice artivle :) can you tell me how much time i need to grow them?

Depends what you are trying to grow.

the flowers

Well I assumed that. To answer your question it's early enough in the year that you could plant any flower you like and get it to bloom. It might be to late for Crocuses though.
The best thing is to decide where in your yard you want to plant them and how much sunlight that spot gets then go to the nursery and see what you like. You just have to make sure that it's right for the amount of light.
One other tip is that anuals, which won't survive a cold winter, seem to me to really have the most flowers. Perrenials will come back every year which can save a lot of money but often have shorter times that they bloom. If you can get a combination of plants with different months they bloom all in the same garden it can look really nice.

Thank you for the answer :) Nice to know!
