Life Is Beautiful

To build a home is one of the most rewarding achievements in the bird's life. But not all birds build them the same way.The southern weaver,as the  name suggests, actually weaves its nest by using a selection of either reeds, palm,or grass.Interestingly, the weaver lays eggs of varying colors , so they can easily identify when an intruder has placed one of their own eggs in their nest.

The olive backed Sunbird is the closest bird we have to the hummingbird here in this part of the world. It largely feeds on the nectar, it can hover ,and in this marvelous shot, we see it swooping it to feast on the grass tree flower
