Photography Display

I was on a list to have my photography printed and displayed at the local London Drugs Photolab. I was suppose to be going in the month or September or October but at the last minute the person who was scheduled for May wanted to switch with someone so I got in early!

This is super exciting for me, I have never had my prints on display like this before. I have never done galleries or anything like that so this is like a little baby step to see if I like it, and see if people are even interesting in buying prints of my work.

These are the 5 images I have printed as 16x20 on foamcore hanging above the photo counter. There is also a little poster with a picture of me and a bio. Ugh! writing bios is not fun, does anyone actually enjoy writing a bio?

It's a little stressful trying to pull this all together, I literally whipped up a freebie website yesterday just so I could put something on business cards that I also ordered yesterday. It was all super last minute but at least I have some way and some where to send people if they are interested in my work.

in case anyone is wondering. Don't be surprised if it has issues or undergoes a lot of changes over the next week or so as I need to tweak it a bit...or maybe completely overhaul it I haven't decided.

If you are an artist/ photographer and have London Drugs in your area go in and talk to the photolab manager and see if they are doing Local Inspirations at your store. See if you can get involved!
