Upvoted. As a layman about design, i always find japan very amazing in that aspect. They seem always have a nose on knowing how to attract people. I mean the laterns, you see it is so simple but it is just so attractive that you also want to decorate at home.

I feel I must clarify, this photo was actually taken in Singapore, but I have to agree with you, Japanese design is always very beautiful and inspire a sense of calm and peace.
