Beauty in death

in photography •  7 years ago  (edited)

The flowers in the vase have been dead for a while, but I just couldn't get myself to throw them out. So... to immortalise the beauty I started snapping away..

I think it came out pretty good.. whats your thoughts?

Notice the chip in the vase?? On the day we bought it, it got knocked over accidentally... Our first reacation was anger... but noticed a stronger message appeared with the defect.

This is one of our favourite pieces just because of that..

Please share your thoughts.. I'm very much a newbie when it comes to photography, one of the key elements in my photos is to tell a story by not having to say a word..

Please share your insight on how I can improve my skillset

I am not a photographer but your second shot really speaks to me. The colours i like in all this pics but number 2 really pops!

Thank you for the feedback! I have to admit, I used a filter to achieve the warm colours..

Quite ironic isn't it? hehehe.. a warm take on death..
