Mushroom hunt

in photography •  6 years ago

It had been raining for a few days straight where i live. So i decided when it stopped that it was a good opportunity to go look for some mushrooms and later try to identify them (which i have not done yet). I found a couple interesting ones in the bushland behind university and took some pictures. I then decided to go to the wetlands. I was surprised that it wasn't the right habitat for mushrooms and therefore the rest of my day turned towards the wildlife. Specifically since i had my lens capable of macro. Insects which are very hard to capture since they move so fast and erratically

These fish are amazing that they can live in such little amount of water in a tiny creek that goes through the boardwalk.
They seem to like to stick half of there body out of the water. i threw sticks at this one trying to get a video of how fast they take of but it didn't budge.
