Long Exposure Fun

in photography •  7 years ago  (edited)

I have seen this style of photography for a while, and on new years eve decided to attempt it myself, i used sparkers as fire in summer in a residential area isnt a wise move. Set the camera up and after a few tweaks with the settings managed to get some awesome shots.

This was a really fun project that i wish to attempt again one day. I have also seen the whisk and steel wool method that looks like fun but also dangerous for where i live.

thanks for looking

Very cool! I try to do this with my camera. What settings are you using??

Thanks, i used a canon 750d or t6i with kit lens 18-55mm.

the settings for the heart picture are, 10 seconds, f/8, ISO100 and the lens was zoomed out to 18mm.

i ended up using a self timer also as running towards the camera and then back in time to draw was getting tiring lol.
