Creeping Thistle - flowers beautifying the steemit blockchain

My favorite time of the year is just around the corner. Intense vibes, scents and people coming out of their birds nests and engaging with random conversations in public.

At a bus station I met someone using instagram and i spoke to her about steemit and how cool the partiko app is. When i showed it, she said ‚its just like Instagram.‘ i showed her how much cooler it is. She asked me if I upload pictures that i take with my ‚sony a 7r ii‘ that i had on me. I said ‚yes‘ and explained curation and how the steemit eco-system works.

As soon as we entered the bus, four people randomly joined our conversation. I was trying to explain the exchange of value and the ‚proof of brain‘ consensus mechanism. I went on trying to elaborate the macro economical impact of blockchain technology. The change factor of marginal individualism creates marginal utility and promotes a more productive society of creators rather than consumers. How it affects value exchange in general and that it’s defined by a community and people to produce the value for an economy together. In an attempt to explain why we were having an interesting conversation, I pointed out sharing value. Exchange of value is scarce to only the people that specifically agree on something to be valuable within a community. When i said resources are scarce too, i got more people’s attention.

One guy on his seat said. ‚Man, whats the name of this platform?‘

I never mentioned crypto currencies. Bitcoin has its reputation and the ‚proof of work‘ consensus mechanism mining operations have large energy consumption. Uranium is still a very largely debated topic amongst anti technology environmentalists that have a FOMO type anti crypto attitude too. Switzerland still uses mostly nuclear power, so this is a sensitive topic.

Here i am spreading DLT trends subconsciously through word of mouth. I wonder how many people signed up that day.

I used a 24mm lens with a macro filter.

Upvotes will encourage me more. :)
