Wasserturm Stadtwald Peine / Watertower City Forrest Peine D/EN

1908 wurde aufgrund der wachsenden Einwohnerzahl der Stadt Peine ein zweiter Wasserturm benötigt, um die Wasserversorgung der Stadt zu gewährleisten.

In 1908, due to the growing population of the city of Peine a second water tower was needed to ensure the water supply of the city.

Wenn ´man heute durch den Peine Stadtwald wandert, steht auf einmal dieser wunderbare Turm vor einem. Denn vom Waldesrand aus kann man nicht erahnen, das dort ein mächtiger Turm in mitten des Waldes steht

If you wander through the Peine City Forrest today, this wonderful tower suddenly stands in front of you. From the edge of the forest you can not imagine that there is a mighty tower in the middle of the forest.

Leider wird der Turm heute nicht mehr genutzt. Und somit ist der Turm nur noch ein Wanderziel durch den schönen Stadtwald.

Unfortunately, the tower is no longer used today. And so the tower is only a hiking destination through the beautiful city forest.
