This Child Considered God Reincarnated in the Village, Friends with the Monkeys

A toddler named Samarth Bangari is regarded as God's reincarnation in his village. The assumption of the community came after Samarth became a close friend with the monkey tribe in Hubli Village in South India. Everyday, Samarth spends hours and hours playing with the monkeys in his village.

Samarth often shares his food with the monkeys. Samarth occasionally teased and worked the monkeys with his food. Even every morning, at 6:00 am, some monkeys entered Samarth's room and woke the innocent boy. Samarth also often sneak into the kitchen and pick up some food to share with his friends. Samarth's parents claimed to have never worried about the relationship between his son and the monkeys.

They often leave their children playing with monkeys.

The unusual friendship with the monkeys was rated by the citizens as a blessing bestowed on Samarth. Samarth's parents, Sunil (38) and Nanda Bangari (35), say that the villagers regard Samarth as the incarnation of the Hanuman-god of the Hindu monkey. "He played with them, gave them home food, and the monkeys loved him and even as he pulled their tails, the animals would not hurt him," Nanda said. "People in our village are surprised to see Samarth's special bond with the monkeys and some even call him the incarnation of Hanuman because of the monkeys who showed him incredible love." "They took care of him and did not hurt him, I believe in animals and let my own children with them to play while I am busy with housework."

Samarth's parents say his son's friendship with the monkey begins at the age of six months. At that moment a monkey grabbed food from Samarth's hand. "Our village Allapur has a large monkey population and they are usually friendly because we offer food and let them roam around our house," said Sunil, who works as a farm laborer everyday. "But it's amazing how my son has found a special bond with these monkeys." "It all started when he was only six months old.One day I fed him while finding some monkeys outside our house." "They all gather in large numbers to see him eat and someone approaches him all of a sudden and grabs his food." "Surprisingly, Samarth did not cry, instead started marking the monkeys." "Since then monkeys start visiting our homes every day, we get used to their presence and Samarth's wonderful relationship with them.It's a habit for all of us now," Sunil concluded.
