Slowly, two or three people on a motorbike in a rural provincial town in Thailand. Temple to temple, things we haven't seen despite the reality that we live there. The heat seeping into every pore of skin, a humidity that makes time to seem to stand still in late afternoon. A classic Yashica medium format, black and white film, a quick view through the top of the view finder, everything's backwards as if the world is turning in on itself. As the camera slaps, a silhouette trapped in celluloid, a dream trapped in a plastic bottle.
Its been a while since I took this, I think its from 2014 using a yashica twin lens reflex camera and acros 100 film at a temple in Petchaburi, Thailand, developed at a lab in Bangkok.
