Yes, this is a confession.
Today, we spend time with a friend who is familiar with the Transkei. We drove from Port Edward to Mtentu. This is a 70 km trip but even without en stops in between, it is about a three-hour drive. The idea was to look for interesting faces amongst the locals.
And we found them, and we photographed them, and I enjoyed it.
But at two occasions I asked to stop, to give me the opportunity to photograph a landscape scene.
And I enjoyed it.
Don't get me wrong, I do not think my landscape photos are any better or more unique than the people photos. It is just that I enjoyed it more than photographing the people.
We arrived back at our base at 2 pm. At 6 pm we went to the sea to photograph the sunset.
And I enjoyed it.
