The Cotswolds is a beautiful area in south central England containing stone-built villages, historical towns and stately homes and gardens.
I think that I liked Lower Slaughter the most, probably because it showed exactly what I expected. Also, here, the sun has been out of the clouds for a few minutes.
The village is built on both banks of the River Eye and at the end of it is a 19th-century water mill with an undershot waterwheel and a chimney for additional steam power (not steem power :) ).
Bourton-on-the-Water is along by the River Windrush with its beautiful bridges throughout.
Broadway Tower is the second highest point of the Cotswolds.
Upper Slaughter is one mile away from Lower Slaughter and resides on a gentle grassy slope above the stream that connects the two villages.
Great shots, I especially like the second one of Broadway Tower. So much history there. Thanks for posting.
