People rear different types amd variety of livestock animal in diffetent part of the world. Mostly it depends upon the climatic condition of the region . Here in Nepal too, people rear different livestock in himalayn region above 3000m altitude.

Some people reared few of them while some have reared a lot for commercial purpose. Sheep, chyangra, yak are the main livestock which are reared in this region. They keep them until these animals get maturity and sell them at the time of festival.

Simce there is no market to sell them in this region. They have to travel long way to higly populated city to sell them at reasonable price. Theu travel in foot because there is no transporation facility available in this region due to adverse geographical condition.it alsp help them to save a lot of money because they don't need to pay transportation fare and the livestock also get their feed from the grass grown in the field while travelling.
