Celebrity Summit

I took a walk this morning, and found a pleasant surprise.
What a pleasant surprise, sitting here at Great Hollow Beach, looking to Provincetown. The cruise ship Celebrity Summit, anchored today, on my Birthday, in Provincetown Harbor, 11 years after my wife and I, and some friends were on her, in Alaska! We spent time doing the Inside Passage, with the actual date of my birthday in The Yukon, on a Jeep Tour.

Celebrity Summit anchored in the harbor is both a Birthday and an Anniversary Present to me. It's extremely unusual for a large ship like this to be here. Occasional ships with 500 passengers are here, but rarely super cruise ships. It was a very nice change of pace, and cool to see.

Some day, I will tell the tales, of the large dead whale, draped over the bow, on our return to port from the cruise.

Today, Carnival Week 2019 in Provincetown begins. Each year, there is a theme. this year's theme is Enchanted Forest and the Celebrity Summit is here for that. bringing in her 3500 passengers.

Always, I strive to give back
To the animals and birds around me
to put more plants in than I take out
And be a good steward for the world around me!
