Moskow Triumph Gate was built back in 1838 on Moskovskii prospect -- the Russian Empire' primary road, connecting St.Petersburg with Moscow. One day I will tell you the full story (a good part of 2018 I've spent working on an album devoted to it! easily can make a megapost about it). Believe me - this Gate have seen and suffered alot.

The Gate located not far away from my place, so I have a pleasure observing them every time I head myself to the city center, or backwards. This shot appeared right when I was returning home from my publisher. What you see here: workers decorate the street for celebrating the Victory day on May, 1. At all of its distance, the avenue was decorated with this stuff... and it is being manufactured each year from a scratch. What a waste of time, efforts and money!..
