The beauty of flowers is incomparable. The beauty of each flower is different. Each flower is different in shape. Although most of the flowers are close to each other in shapes and beauty, the flower in this photograph is very different from other ordinary flowers. If you look carefully, you will notice that this flower has only two petals. And the shape of the petals is more like a frog's umbrella rather than a normal petal. Or rather like a crown on the top or head. And this flowering plant has thorns all over its body. So the flower looks like a crown on the head of the thorns. This may be why it is named "Crown-of-thorns".
