(This, as my preview and the most of my future articles are personal opinions, so i'm open to any opinion you want to share)
This time i would like to share something i've been thinking a while ago. Humanity has always been considered as the highest inteligent being, and like the most organism which is in the highest hierarchy rank, will do everything posible to stay in that position. All artificial inteligence improvements done in the last years have been in such way that we have as an example a bot called Eugene Gootsman, which is notorious the conversational level it has that led it to win some awards like the Turing Test, despite this, the perception that people will have about this (the robot) will be comparable to which one had in slavering era, when there were societies where slaves despite being people too, were treated as a lower being with few or null rights.
In the case of robots, this problem is more complicated, since in some cases they have come to be considered as the next step in the evolutionary scale where it would come replace the human being as a the greatest intelligent entity, that is, it is not simply that it is considered an equal entity but that it represents a possible future change, therefore this is a very big obstacle presented to them, maybe we should wait for the technology to advance enough and for a similar case to occur in the movie "Bicentennial Man" where the robot does everything in its power to be recognized by society with the same rights as a human being.
