This is interesting. What has changed in battery technology that's given us the "fast charging" in new smartphones?

    Getting a good balance between heat dissipation, speed of charge and size of battery really! Phones nowadays have Lithium-Ion batteries which are of the best batteries out there. They last longer than other types of batteries too. Many factors is your answer!
