Physics assistance...

in physics •  3 years ago

So, one of the ways I've spent my time, for going on decades, is by engaging in a self-study of physics. I had the usual physics training during my undergraduate and graduate years, but I am an engineer by profession and not a physicist. At this point, though, I've probably exposed myself to more than a degree's worth of physics material.

I enjoy sharing knowledge. So I'm just announcing my willingness to field questions from people who are pursuing this sort of knowledge. I'm not interested in doing anyone's homework for them - that's not the kind of help I mean. What I'd most enjoy would be helping someone really get a grasp of the basic foundations of it all - to try to make the quest more than just a "pile of equations to memorize" for them. I've been told I have a knack for explaining things in an understandable way - hopefully that would manifest in an interaction of this type.

Anyway, if you're interested in learning I'd be happy to help - just let me know if you find any part of it particularly muddy or confusing.

Stay safe and well!
Kip
