The word physio comes from the physical meaning of physiology and medicine. Physiotherapy means physical therapy. A physiotherapist is able to treat patients with a combination of physical movements, expenditures, research manuals, medical treatment, electrotherapy / apparatus, pharmacological agents, and better understanding of the patient's problem.
According to the World Health Organization, a physiotherapist is required for ten people per population of a country.
