Week Update 1

Hello everyone!

Here's an overview of all the happenings of the past week (July 30-Aug 6):

1. MINING POOL

1.1 LUX Smart Contract Fork on Sunday Aug 5:

  • After the fork, there were issues with the CryptoDredge 0.8.0 miners. This was creating phantom miners and that way congesting the stratum. All miners using CD 0.8.0 were notified of this and blocked to relieve the stratum. Users who are still encountering problems connecting, can contact any of our team to help get their account unblocked.

  • There was also an issue with he chain, where it was discovered that there were 4 different blockchains, which were all finding blocks but on different block heights, difficulty levels, etc. The chain issues were resolved by providing the LUX team some pointers with a GITHUB patch and the LUX dev team brining out a new wallet update, version 5.2.1

  • During all this, Pickaxe was on the correct chain and all issues were resolved after 2 extra wallet updates.
    Payments were made correctly and should have been received in your wallet.
    If this is not the case, please reach out to our team so they can help you figure this out.

1.2 MergeCard (MRG) has been disabled due to no updates/responses form their dev team.

1.3 XDNA hard fork:

  • XDNA wallet update (currently in maintenance mode)
  • XDNA has new algo (HEX)
  • The new stratum for XDNA:
    -a hex -R 5 -o stratum+tcp://xdna.pickaxe.pro:5133 -u <WALLETADDRESS.WORKER> -p c=XDNA -f 2

2. MASTERNODES

2.1 In the past week 16 MasterNodes (MN) were filled and activated.
These include dedicated (DED) as well as shared (MN).

2.2 Recently we announced a partnership with https://mycryptostats.com (MCS), which is a Crypto Currency Portfolio and Miner Monitoring Tool.

First a little more info for those who are not familiar with it yet:
This user-friendly website supports tons of altcoins (they are adding new coins all the time).
While the free version is working great, it's limited to only 8 coins and 1 MasterNode.
The "Upgraded" (paid) version allows you to add up to 30 coins to your portfolio and monitor 5 MasterNodes.

The good news that comes with this partnership, is Pickaxe.MN offering a complimentary "Upgraded" account for our MasterNode holders. The only requirement to qualify for this promo, is to have at least one seat on any active MasterNode. So far, we already have 50 upgraded accounts.
If you haven't upgraded yet, all you have to do is fill out this form https://pickaxe.mn/product/free-mcs-upgrade/ , follow the steps and your free account will be upgraded at no cost.

Also, Pickaxe.MN is now using MCS for public Masternodes stats. All upgraded users should now see a new option called "Switch account". You will have the ability to switch to the Pickaxe account.
By doing so, you will have (read-only) access to all our Masternodes stats, except the ones that are not compatible with MCS yet. (MDEX, PHASE, IMC, KEY, ZEN)

If you already have MCS Upgraded account or higher, and are not able to see Pickaxe Account, please reach out to our MasterNode team with your email associated to MCS.

2.3 The Pickaxe.MN store has been updated so now you will only see the right wallet address to make the deposit when you place an order. No more long list of deposit addresses!
