Hello Steemians!

Today I would to share with you my last week experience from the roads of the Giro della Riviera Apuana e Bassa Lunigiana. This is a cycling challenge composed by 5 stages (6 in the start), alls organized between the provinces of Massa-Carrara and La Spezia, remembering the ancient traditional territorial divisions.

I took the photos along the road where I went on my bike. I moved in more points during the competition to capture as many details as possible. I would have liked to take many shots for the rest of the challenge but I didn't feel very well so I have to be satisfied.

We can divide my post's photos in 2 halfs: in the first, I created pics tending to blue tones or to green-low red tones. This is the less creative part of the post.

Now, the second half of the post, the more creative part. I created a serie of fantasy, high contrasted or monochromes pics with the same photo previously viewed.

For many monochromes photos, I created more than one copy to give him different background tones. The lighter tones allow you to highlight some parts of the image that would be censored with darker monochrome photos.

The fantasy photo: I utilized a curve level to shift completely the colors. I created 2 images with this method. Maybe, below is the less fascinating.

I added a new banner: the PICSONBIKE Banner.

PicsOnBike is a hashtag that I utilized on my instagram post few years ago, when I took shots during my cycling route. Over time, I created - first - a picsonbike logo, often added in my photo such a watermark or signature; then - second -, I created an easy logo to print on a t-shirt and now I publish the banner freshly baked.

I was sorry being able to insert only photos of the last race. In the previous ones, there would have been very beautiful hilly landscapes in the background. Considering that the Giro della Riviera Apuana e Bassa Lunigiana is a challenge organized for some years, maybe it will be for the next one.
