Two examples of a raytraced images: spot the difference!

When I introduced myself I talked about creating 3D scenes through raytracing, but I was imprecise. Here I say more about it: I like doing things using computer languages and textual description rather than graphical interfaces. I like CSG and POV Ray. I've tried also to use Blender and Wings 3D as modeler, but I have to admit I'm very wimp with these powerful tools — they have steep learning curve. For someone it's paradoxical or counterintuitive, but I find it easier with text, or source code, if you prefer.

Another thing you should have noticed in my introduction: I wrote “pretending to”. Thus the truth is that I have artistic ambitions, but it doesn't mean I create stunning things. Moreover creating complex scenes need a powerful computer, and time for the final rendering.

Now that you took an eyeful of the previous great image, here it is a very simple creation of mine. Year 2007. It's a basic example, without too many frills. It was a preparation scene of a larger discontinued project (you can use such low quality scenes to get an idea of the final result, to check if all elements are positioned as desidered… do not forget I am not using a graphical interface…)
