We did actually go swimming earlier in the day and it was freezing!
I live locally so know the best hidden camping spots.
This is the view of the valley as we were leaving, as you can see it's a fairly steep climb down.

Thanks for your comment and appreciation. I agree and I feel blessed to live locally and it's never something I take for granted. I may not have the biggest bank balance but sometimes when I head out to places like this I feel like the richest man alive.

I can imagine! You just need enough money to live comfortably enough, after that, experiences are much more important and what an experiences you can have with beautiful nature like that around :D

In looking at these again, I really enjoy the 2nd from the last photo, especially your out of focus hand.
Was that intentional? "a perceptual flaw?" Anyhow, it reminds me of a story and I'll remember to let you know when I get it done. (assuming I get it done)

To be honest I took two pictures of the same image but like yourself ended up preferring the out of focus one .. I think the beauty of the area compliments this slightly dreamlike image. I look forward to reading your story.

That really captures it, what caught my eye. It's almost as if the out of focused hand is opening up a window to the beauty. I'm glad I revisited and saw that in a new light.
