Karaoke or videoke is a favorite activity to do in the Philippines, especially at birthday parties, celebrations, and or fiesta or even just on ordinary days. Through this activity, we, filipinos tend to unite or bond as this leisure time allows us to express our desires in singing like nobody cares listening, singing in tune or out of tune as an outlet for our feelings in happiness and in depression.

Basically, the Original Pilipino Music or OPM includes musical performance arts in the Philippines or by Filipinos composed in various genres and styles. The compositions are often a mixture of different Asian, Spanish, Latin American, American, and indigenous influences.

Last 3 days ago, a post from @zararina, "Paligsahan sa Pag-Awit: Pinoy Videoke"(A Singing Contest:Filipino Videoke) caught my attention as this could be a different kind of contest wherein pinoys tend to interact with each other and be gathered here on steemit and also to showcase the "Karaoke Talents of Filipinos"
