In this fun children’s book, Pinkalicious and her brother are very sad because they are waiting for snow to fall in Pinkville. They are both yearning to build a snowman with their family and enjoy the snow outside. As the kids books continues, Pinkalicious asks her mother is they can go to North Pole. Her mother explains that it is too far away and they will just have to wait patiently until the snow comes this season.
In this bedtime story, we see Pinkalicious and her brother try to make their own snow by tearing up newspapers into piles of paper snow! As the children’s story continue, Pinkalicious’ mother takes the kids to Maggies Gift Shop to get hot chocolate and cookies. In the store they see a beautiful snow globe made by the Shopkeeper Maggie; Pinkalicious has fallen in love with it! Inside is a cute pink reindeer inside.
Maggie shows them her artist desk and all the parts to made hundreds of snow globes in the back on her desk. As we continue to read aloud, we hear Pinkalicious talk about all the things they miss and can’t do because there is no snow in Pinkville. She tells them all about the snow angels, playground, sledding, building snowmen and all the other fun activities Pinkalicious and her family do in the snow. After they return home, they try to endure the time waiting by making snow flakes out of coffee filters, but we discover in this children’s book that it is no replacement for the real thing. They go back to Maggies shop and see many different snow globes in her shop. You will have to read the book to see what all the new snow globes have inside! Finally at the end of the kids book we see it snowing; winter has come to Pinkville!
