3세대 Pixel, Pixel XL
Pixel은 스마트폰의 대표적인 안드로이드OS를 개발하던 구글에서 하드웨어의 개발, 설계까지 모두 직접 맡아 만든 구글 최초의 스마트폰이다. 2016년 1세대 Pixel을 시작으로 현재 2018년 3세대 Pixel 출시를 앞두고 있다.
출시일
현재까지 출시일은 알려져 있지 않으며, 작년 Pixel(픽셀)의 출시일이 10월 19일 이었던 것을 미루어 보아 10월 19일 정식 출시 될 것으로 보고있다. 현재 공개된 정보에 의하면 2018년 10월 9일 구글 행사에서 기기 발표를 한다.
전작과의 차이점
전작과 비교를 하자면 일단 제조회사가 다르다. 픽셀은 OEM 형식으로 제조를 하고 있으며, 작년 까지는 LG에서 제조를 맡아왔었는데 이번에는 폭스콘이라는 회사에서 제조를 맡았다.
최근 뉴모바일(nieuwemoniel)에서 공개한 디자인에 따르면 Pixel3 XL은 노치(일명 탈모)가 적용 된 모습을 확인 할 수 있다. 또한 Pixel3은 5.4인치. Pixel3 XL은 6.2인치의 크기를 가질 것이라고 한다.
국내 출시 여부
국내출시는 아직 확정된 것이 없으며, 아마 이전 처럼 국내 정식 출시는 불투명 하다고 생각 된다. 이번에는 제발 정식 출시가 되었으면 한다.
