Libertarians and anarchists alike seek a common ground when it comes to the police force - privatization.
The arguments against public protection are endless. They are funded involuntarily. They have lawful immunity in more cases than not. They essentially investigate themselves in cases of public outcry. Police are essentially the physical manifestation of the state. They enforce the arbitrary dictates of corrupted officials. They steal more in civil asset forfeiture and citations than all other criminal activity combined. They are not required to actually protect anyone. Police search and create problems where there were none to begin with.
