I have a friend who recently posted a question regarding John Podesta
(former counselor to president Barack Obama and Chairman of the 2016 Hillary Clinton campaign, who is the focal point of the Wikileaks "Podesta Emails") and Brian Podesta, a senior analyst at the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
My friend's account was summarily locked. I tried Tweeting the same thing. Now my account is locked, too.
I don't see how this simple Tweet violated any rules. In my view, this just seems to add credibility to the fact that something's up. I already know there is (I have a friend who was formerly a detective, and was ordered to let a political figure carrying child pornography in a briefcase pass through an airport security checkpoint even after the child-pornographic photos were discovered in his briefcase).
This type of censorship just serves to strengthen that knowledge. Here are the screencaps I took:

Remember, all we are doing is asking questions. The Tweet did not accuse anyone of anything and...locked.
I have appealed Twitter's decision but am not holding my breath to get a reply. Things like this are what make Steemit such an important bastion for free speech.

Twitter stated explicitly (see screencap) that my account was locked for one specific Tweet. This is not up for debate. Read the screencap from Twitter themselves.
Since my first Tweet, people have been retweeting the post via screencap without problems. I am aware of this. It in no way means that the lockouts did not happen to me and several others initially. They did. Not up for debate. This is simple logic. Perhaps something changed.

Definitely not a fan of locking out accounts like that, but is it possible that this guy isn't actually related to John and might have been in contact with Twitter and other social networks about it? I do see your angle, but with Ben Swann blacked out after reporting on it, David Seaman gone from YouTube, Clinton Foundation tied to child trafficking in Haiti, and the countless weird emails, art, and sexualized posts about children from Comet Ping Pong folks, I don't know how one can not be questioning this stuff.
One look at the BBC (Jimmy Saville) and all the weird shit in Washington DC, one has to be open to the possibility.
