Hunting Homeless Veterans in the Neighborhood

Don't worry...

no veterans were harmed in making this post. Walking my dog, I see a lot of homeless people around my neighborhood. I'm actually hunting for homeless veterans to tell them about the Placer County Veterans Stand Down. There's plenty of evidence of the homeless, but I couldn't find any vets. I actually seen a couple living in the trailer, in the bottom left corner. homelessrubbish.jpgI couldn't find any vets, but I did find this person. He was from Idaho, and said he was mugged last month. He wasn't a veteran, so I told him about Citrus Heights Homeless Assistance Resource Team. Hopeful, he can better his situation. slide16.jpgIf you can volunteer it would be greatly appreciated; I'll be volunteering this Thursday to help cleanup. If you're a vet or family member of a vet come by the Placer County Fair Grounds. Remember, this is not a handout, it's a hand up! Placer County Stand Down
