Here we go again... < sighs >
In my original post about plagiarism, I half-joked about creating a plagiarism league table. @steemcurator02 (I think jokingly) suggested that they'd like to see this league table. In my follow up post, I stated that these users wouldn't be around long enough to make a league table worthwhile. Hmm.
So today, I bring you my inaugural, Steemit Plagiarism Premier League.
I am now following a 3 stage process:
- Stage 1 - 1st Warning - I am now starting to point people towards Achievement 3 along with highlighting anything between 1 and 3 plagiarised posts (depending upon how much time/effort I have). This will be accompanied by downvotes (can I buy an unlimited downvote add-on from somewhere?) 🚩🚩🚩
- Stage 2 - A Final Warning - A simple request to stop and that I won't ask again. Possibly accompanied by more downvotes 🚩🚩🚩
- Stage 3 - Total Annihilation 🧨💣💥💥💥
If somebody properly pisses me off, stage 2 may be accelerated/skipped.
Following is the League, along with the status I have placed on each user - this is as much for my benefit as to show some transparency to what I'm doing. Beneath the table, is a list of articles I have flagged for plagiarism since my last post on the subject 2 days ago, some of which have been upvoted by booming accounts. Posting this depresses me.
There are plenty more users and articles knocking about. Following a couple of these users has taken me to communities where plagiarism is particularly prevelant / ubiquitous.

In the long run, removal of plagiarists should make Steemit more attractive 👍
The response to these posts never ceases to amaze me. It's also amazing that the copy-cats haven't copied (for a change) and started to make this job less shitty - Probably too much effort!

Hello sir. I regularly organize daily competitions. An average of 8 people participate in my contest per day. I am promoting the contest on Twitter. It started to be quite tiring for me. I would be glad if you support my competition.

It's a great job you have done, in the time I have been on steemit I have noticed some cases and I have also seen re-publications, many to avoid being noticed translate the publications. I recently saw that on Discord a girl was accused of republishing and in one of those publications received votes from the main curator, but the representatives of that country did not care about that, I think if everyone worked like you Steemit would be more free of plagiarism and would be better for those who do create original content. Greetings friend and good wishes to you.
