Amsterdam Schiphol - 2018-04-27

Amsterdam Schiphol - 2018-04-27. Kings day in the Netherlands. The King of the Netherlands celebrates his birthday. In every city, there are performances and a sale where kids are selling their toys (rommelmarkt in Dutch).

But not for the Planespotter... There were a lot of nice visitors at Schiphol…

EC-MJB Vueling Airlines -Airbus A320
Vueling is a Spanish low-cost airline, which flies many times a day to Schiphol. Most airplanes have nice names like “No Vueling, no party”, “Vini, vidi, Vueling” and “Vueldone”. Here you can see a close up of the “Alex Cruz 5.0”. After a search on internet: Alex Cruz is a Dutch DJ.

PH-HSI Transavia -Boeing 737-800
The Dutch airline Transavia flies a lot of vacation flights. Here you can see the PH-HSI with Peter Pan livery and named “Wilco van Elk”. Transavia employees started in 1996 the Peter Pan Foundation, who organizes holidays for young people who are unable to go on holiday independently due to illness. Wilco van Elk is the founder of the foundation.

JY-BAH Royal Jordanian Airline -Boeing 787-8
The highlight of today... The first visit of this Boeing 787 of Royal Jordanian on Schiphol. Normally a smaller Airbus A 320 family aircraft is on this flight. Due to the vacation and slot restrictions, they came once with a bigger aircraft. A nice airliner with a crone in the tail on Kings day…

My Arabic language is very good… The aircraft named “Prince Faisal bin Al-Hussein”. You can read it on the front of the aircraft or on the other sight of the aircraft in Latin alphabet. ;)

PH-BFW KLM -Boeing 747-400
The queen of the skies! A Boeing 747-400 of the Royal Dutch Airlines. Many airliners park there pax Boeing 747 into the desert. At Schiphol, only the KLM flies with the pax Boeing 747.
