My plants have come a long way. I have done everything I can to protect them from fruit rats and birds. The netting might not look good, but it serves a purpose. I remember when I still had an eggplant plant growing and it only produced one eggplant and it got bitten into by something. I don't know for sure what it was, but I vowed to do all I could to make sure that doesn't happen again. Unfortunately my pea plant is pretty much dead. I'll have to wait till August to try again. I got a bunch of nice peas out of it though. Live and learn. Of course I can't forget about the pumpkin plants. My first pumpkin is growing in and it looks great. The honeydew plants have grown so much too. :)
