autumn impressions -- lonely october

Wistful rainy October is the best time to go for a walk at the old cemetery. I had a 100% October in my soul, and I have a proper old beautiful necropol in a cycling distance from me. So...

All images taken by me, Canon 5d + Sigma 150mm was used.

Last Sunday, we planned to take a family walk, and had a number of mutually excluding options. First one: go to the cinema to watch the childrens blockbuster movie Maleficent-2. Secondly: escape from a family walk and taste the autumn on my own... drink the loneliness and misty from the air, breath the wilting, and rustle the yellow leaves fallen on the ground -- speaking more precise, I mean visiting the necropolis of the Novodevichy Convent, where I have not been for many years. Of course, I mean visiting it with a camera (last time when I cheked it, I was armed with a 50mm lens, which in a certain way have narrowed my vision and possibilities. Now having 16-35mm lens, I can do completely different stuff).

В прошлое воскресенье у нас было желание погулять всей семьей, а также ряд взаимоисключающих предложений. Во-первых, пойти в театр посмотреть детское кино "Малефисента-2". Во-вторых, сбежать от семьи и на всю катушку использовать ресурс осени, унылую одинокость и туманность, и увядание, и понападавшие на землю желтые листья -- и навестить некрополь Новодевичьего монастыря, где я не был много лет. Я имею в виду, с камерой. (В прошлый раз я там был, вооруженный моим верным полтинником, что в определенном смысле суживало моё зрение и возможности).

The photo I took last time, 50-mm was used.

The third item in the plan was the Botanical Park. And we choosed it. (And later showed us it was a bad decision.. it was in vain. Never walk with a child who is hungry, hasn’t slept, or is naughty: you will not achieve any of your goals, just torment yourself). Even the company of two peers didnt help, we expected my girl would play with them, it didnt work at all.

Третьим пунктом в плане был Ботанический Парк. Именно туда мы и отправились... (Как показало вскрытие -- зря. Никогда не гуляйте с ребенком, который голоден, не выспался, или капризничает. Вы не достигните поставленных целей, только намучаетесь). Не помогла даже компания из двух сверстников, с которыми, как предполагалось, моя девочка станет вместе играть...

Along the way, we consumed a small dose of fast food at McDonalds, in the form of a cocktail and a hamburger ... I see no point in adding it to the photo report - we don’t have an instagram here, right? And it has nothing to do with the autumn mood in my soul ...

По пути мы подкрепились, зайдя в Мак-Дональдс и потребив небольшую дозу фаст-фуда в виде коктейля и гамбургера... добавлять их к фотоотчету не вижу смысла -- у нас же не инстаграмм тут, верно? И к осени в моей душе это не имеет ни малейшего отношения.

Despite all the beauty around, my mood was below zero. Of course, all these amazing stories turned me on ... a little. I clicked the shutter and harvested the pictures, I have something to show you, but alas ... alas ...

Несмотря на всяческую красоту вокруг, настроение у меня было ниже нуля. Конечно, все эти потрясающие сюжеты меня возбуждали... немного. Я клацал затвором, и собирал урожай картинок, мне есть что вам показать, но увы... увы...

Hehe. Well, its a magic place -- there were even poppies in bloom here!

Basically, of course, I took pictures of the leaves. Leaves, and more leaves.
Well, some flowers ... there were no mushrooms -- if they were, I would shoot them, of course.

What a difference the name of this plant is!

Peonies have long faded ... and roses continue to delight both eyes and noses.
Пионы давно отцвели... а розы продолжают радовать и глаза, и носы.

Wilted plants are my fave subject. Where can one photograph the best specimens, if not in the botanical garden?

and to finish on the optimistic note: heres for you the last bee of the season!

And it was not dead! I moved the flower three times, positioning it for a better angle of view... and -- surprise! -- the bee woke up, squinted displeased at me ... and flew away!
