Hi Friends,
If you recall, a couple of weeks ago I posted that my kids and I had planted some pumpkin and carrot seeds in our backyard. I wanted to share a brief update on the status, as we are no experts at growing things.
I am happy to report that we have a few pumpkin plants sprouting!
We can see three of them currently, so that is promising :)
On the carrot side, we have a bunch of sprouts popping up!
They kind of look like weeds or grass, but they are only in the spot where the carrots were planted so I think we are on to something.
So far so good, hopefully we can get both to harvest!
Thanks for coming by,
Brian
Carrots grow so well this time of year on the West Coast. Wild carrot breeds are what we plant. We planted eggplant and Armenian cucumber as well. Great progress in your garden.
