The stream has many interesting wild animals but what's pretty exciting to see is how different the biomes can be. One part is managed, the lawn cut and it's clean. Another part, is unkept, fully wild, the marshes. Then we have the calm lake, who knows what kind of animals are back there.
This is part two of my previous post which was titled similarly.
This is the dam of the stream, the side that you see in front of the dam is the well-cut grass. The area has been maintained by the city to protect from flooding downstream. Past the dam is the lake...
It's not really much of a large lake, but it's pretty sizeable, there doesn't seem to be any kind of entrance for boats. It's a fairly untouched piece of land back here. Overgrown grass, plenty of trees. This is the true Floridian wilderness.
To the side of the dam and the lake, there are marshes. I found it odd that the marshes were so close to us, I didn't expect it to be literally right next door to dry land and a lake. Florida has got some pretty interesting biomes on the wild side.
Hope you guys, enjoyed the pictures, someday soon I may take some more!
