Want to play STEEM-POCALYPSE but missed out on the sign-up? Want to play but you're not sure about the rules and would like to learn how to play in a less competitive setting? (Or are you shy and don't want to learn in front of so many players?) Have you already been killed off in STEEM-POCALYSE but would like to keep playing? (Are you still alive in the current season of STEEM-POCALYPSE but want to goof around with your fellow players some more?)
Then this is the game for you!
The Rules for Proper Gameplay:
-- Players must reply within 24hrs of this post being made or they will die.
-- Players must reply to the comment below containing the option they would like to choose for gameplay. If they reply to the main post and not the comment containing the option they would like to choose, they will die.
-- Players must keep track of their own inventories and when they last ate/when they must eat again to avoid starvation.
-- -- EXAMPLE:
I have one backup food supply, rope, 6 ammo (no gun), I ate some berries on Day 3 Round 2, and I choose Option 3!
-- -- -- As this is the first post for this season, there is currently no inventory to keep track of. However, that will change soon and when it does, make sure you keep track of your inventory!
-- -- -- -- Any attempts at dishonesty when listing your inventory will result in immediate death.
THE BIG DIFFERENCES BETWEEN PLAY-ALONG-POCALYPSE and STEEM-POCALYPSE:
-- In Play-Along-Pocalypse, you do not have to signup to play. In STEEM-POCALYPSE, all players must signup for the current season ahead of time. Only those that signed up are allowed to play in the current season.
-- In Play-Along-Pocalypse, death is temporary and you may play again on the next game post. In STEEM-POCALYPSE, death is permanent and you must wait until the next season to play again.
-- In Play-Along-Pocalypse, you may join us at any point in the game. Meaning, if you didn't play with us in the beginning, you're still welcome to join in and start out on whatever the current round is. If you didn't play in Day 1 Round 1, Day 1 Round 2, Day 2 Round 1, Day 2 Round 2, you are still welcome to join us in Day 3 Round 1. (If you join later on in gameplay, I will provide you with a small inventory of items.) In STEEM-POCALYPSE, you MUST begin playing on Day 1 Round 1 and MUST reply to every game post within 24hrs of it being posted or you will die and have to wait until the next season to play again.
-- -- In Play-Along-Pocalypse, I will be enforcing the reply within 24hrs to a game post. Since death is temporary in Play-Along-Pocalypse, the only real consequence is that you will miss out on whatever inventory you might've gained in the missed post and you will miss out on eating if one of the options provided a meal.
-- In Play-Along-Pocalypse, if you're not playing the game, you're allowed to comment and interact with people in the comments of the game posts anyways. In STEEM-POCALYPSE, commenting on game posts when you are not playing is not only VERY RUDE but it's against the rules and creates more work for @Papa-Pepper and myself. So please don't idly chat on STEEM-POCALYPSE posts, come chat on Play-Along-Pocalypse posts instead.
-- In Play-Along-Pocalypse, I'll be posting a list of all the players that played correctly in the previous game post. They will be the 'survivors'. Those that do no play correctly will not be listed. Play-Along-Pocalypse is for learning how to play the game and to have fun and be much more relaxed while learning the game. In STEEM-POCALYPSE, a list of the survivors and a list of the fallen are posted every day.
-- In Play-Along-Pocalypse, there is no prize pool to win. Why? Because this is a learning experience and for fun. In STEEM-POCALYPSE, there's not only a prize pool, but it can grow to be quite large. However, those unable to play the official game correctly will not win the prize pool. If you want to win potentially hundreds or thousands of dollars, you need to be able to follow the game rules on your own if you want to win the money.
-- In Play-Along-Pocalypse, if you die for some reason, I will inform you of your demise and the reason for it, and you can try again on the next game post. In STEEM-POCALYPSE, if you die, you die. Try again next season.
OTHER IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE:
-- In Play-Along-Pocalypse, I highly encourage you to ask all the questions you want or need. I will answer them to the very best of my ability.
-- In Play-Along-Pocalypse, I highly encourage you to interact with each other and to have fun.
-- I also highly encourage you to get creative and to leave your STEEM-POCALYPSE/Play-Along-Pocalypse inspired creations in the comments below.
-- Roleplaying is highly encouraged.

OKAY, ON TO THE ACTUAL GAME!!
The Official STEEM-POCALYPSE Season 6 Day 2 Round 1 Post by @Papa-Pepper
In the last round the players had a chance to potentially trade a weapon for some food, or to try a few other things. Let's see how the options worked out.
DAY 2 ROUND 2 RESULTS
OPTION 1 - Turn down her offer and try to continue on your way.
The players who chose Option 1 turned down the offer the trade, and peacefully went on their way. Thankfully, the departure went well.
The Players who chose Option 1 survived the interaction. If they needed to eat something or perish, they perished. If they ate in the last round, then they are still fine and need to eat by the end of Day 4 in order to avoid starvation. If they had a backup food supply of beef jerky, then they ate it in order to avoid starvation and now need to eat by the end of Day 4 in order to avoid starvation.
OPTION 2 – Try to trade a weapon for the canned goods. If you choose this option, you must specify which weapon. Also, if you trade a gun, you will give up all of your ammunition.
All players who chose to trade a weapon for the potential backup food supply of 2 cans have now lost the weapon that they traded. Thankfully, the woman did provide them with 2 cans of food in return.
The Players who chose Option 2 received 2 backup food supplies. If they needed to eat, they ate one to avoid starvation and now need to eat prior to the end of Day 4 in order to avoid starvation, still having one backup food supply in their inventory. If they ate last round, then they now have 2 backup food supplies. If they found beef jerky and traded for 2 cans, they consumed one backup supply and still have two left. Please include the number of backup food supplies in your inventory when you reply. Congratulations.
OPTION 3 – Try to shoot her dead and take the backpack instead of trading. (For players with a gun.)
Possibly out of a need to eat and a desire to keep their gun, a few players chose to unload on the lady with the backpack and try to eliminate her to get whatever food or supplies that she might actually have.
Being the friendly type and trying to strike up a trade, she honestly did not suspect this. Neither did her boyfriend, although he had planned for it.
Terrified, he watched from on top a building across the street as these players quickly raised their guns and shot his girlfriend in the gut, before he could prevent it. He may have missed the opportunity to prevent it, but not to revenge it. As the players stepped forward towards the fallen body of his girlfriend, he lined up his shot and sent a round ripping through their skulls.
All that they had wanted was to have another way to defend themselves, and now she is gone... not to mention our players.
The Players who chose Option 3 have now been killed and eliminated. Hopefully you will all join back in next season.
OPTION 4 – Try to over-power her and take her backpack instead of trading. (For unarmed players.)
The players who chose Option 4 bum-rushed the lady. They began to strangle her, so she threw her backpack. Thinking that this was their cue to grab the goods and leave, they released the woman and ran towards the pack.
POW!
A rifle round was sent reeling through the air by her boyfriend on top of the building.
The Players who chose Option 4 have now been killed and eliminated. Hopefully you will all join back in next season.
OPTION 5 - Try to stab her with the knife and take her backpack instead of trading. (For players with knife.)
As you may have suspected...
The Players who chose Option 5 have now been killed and eliminated. Hopefully you will all join back in next season.
Day 3 Round 1 SCENARIO
The players are desperately trying to make it out of the city now. Things are getting rough and dangerous, and the time to depart is at hand. However, it is also almost the last chance to find anything useful in the city.
Straight ahead, in the far distance is the edge of the city. On both sides of the street are storefronts. Perhaps something useful may be inside.... or someone hiding.
On the left side is a long pawn shop. The players could work their way through what is left of the store instead of sneaking down the street. It would provide some cover and perhaps an opportunity to find something too.
On the right side is the remains of a sporting goods shop. This too presents some potentially beneficial, or detrimental, possibilities. It is two stories tall though, which doubles the options...
OPTIONS
OPTION 1 - Try to make your way down the street.
OPTION 2 – Try to work your way through the pawn shop, searching for anything useful on your way.
OPTION 3 – Try to work your way through the first floor of the sporting goods store, searching for anything useful on your way.
OPTION 4 – Try to work your way through the second floor of the sporting goods store searching for anything useful on your way.
PLAYER RESPONSIBILITY
All players who have signed up and want to play must reply to this post with 24 hours in order to avoid elimination and continue gameplay. All players must reply to my option comment below, not to this post. I will reply to my own posts with the options each in their own comments, and the players must reply to whichever comment has the option that they wish to choose.
Also, please remember to include your inventory in your reply. Example:
I have gas, a backup food supply and a pistol with 8 rounds of ammunition. I choose Option 3 this round.
As always, please remember that all outcomes are predetermined. In an elimination survival game, most of you are going to die eventually. Nothing personal.

Gotta reply directly to the option comment, not to a reply of a reply to the option comment. (You're welcome to reply to other replies, but your official reply needs to be directly on the option comment.)
I'll make an exception this time because I was busy and didn't notice in time to tell you.

I died in the last round but this game is so interesting that I would love to play along. I have gas and a pistol with 8 rounds of ammunition. Also had a backup supply which I guess is over now. I choose option 3.

At this exact point in time the inventory doesn't carry over. That will probably change in Play-Along-Pocalypse Season 2. I would implement it now, but I'd have to go back and implement it through six days of gameplay and some people aren't even playing anymore.
I will however, be assigning players without any items a random inventory (as I said I would when people joined later on).
I think Play-Along-Pocalypse Season 2 will be much better. :3
You also picked option 3 while replying to option 2. ^^;; This one counts as a miss. But D3R2 will be up here in a few minutes!

Your inventory from the official game doesn't carry over, though I'm considering allowing that for Season 2 of Play-Along-Pocalypse.

Well. I guess I ate my beef jersey. Sure could use some water to wash that down.
I guess I DON'T have a shotgun. But I do have gas. Not just from the beef jerky.
Second floor is less likely to have been looted than the first. So I will take my chances on the second floor.
