They estimate that the interface and the main elements of its battle royale formula violate the law.
We learned yesterday, and thanks to the KoreaTimes portal, that the PUBG Corp., that is, the Bluehole Entertainment subsidiary company and that has developed PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, has filed a plagiarism lawsuit against Fortnite.
"We filled out the forms to protect our copyright in January," said a spokesman for PUBG Corp. on this lawsuit alleging that the Epic Games shooter copies battle royale and interface concepts directly from the PUBG itself.
It should be remembered that Fortnite started its journey being only the Save the World mode and that it was not until September of last year when its Battle Royale modality of free-to-play character was incorporated. At the moment we have to know what will be all this judicial maneuver that, if admitted to proceed, promises to belong.
This very morning, yes, from Epic Games it was assured that Fortnite and PUBG can coexist.
