For instance, if you wanna play games online you're gonna require Playstation Plus and that's gonna be a monthly fee, that's gonna vary depending on how you're getting Playstation Plus. On top of that, you're gonna need games! And games are not cheap. Depending on where you live they could be anywhere from 60 dollars upwards. So those are extra costs that are associated with it. If you wanna play something like playroom or have the camera first streaming, that's an extra cost to get the Playstation 4 camera. These are all little things that you need to keep in mind before you make a purchase decision so you know how much you're going to be spending.

The other thing you need to know is what is coming to the Playstaiton 4 or any console you're gonna buy. This is a decision that you're gonna be making, that you're probably going to live with for the next couple of years. If you're gonna stick it out for the rest of the generation, you're looking at 5-7 years so you wanna make sure that the games that are coming to this console are the style of games you wanna play so that you know you're picking the right console for you. You also wanna know what other people are buying in relation to online gaming! If all of your friends are buying an Xbox One, and you wanna play games online with your friends, well its pretty obvious choice what you need to buy. Same thing with the Playstation 4, if they're all getting Playstation 4s and you wanna play Call of Duty with them, Battlefield, then it makes it so much easier to decide what you're gonna be buying.
