Programmable Logic Controller is called as PLC.Its a microprocessor based special logic controller.It has a memory,a microprocessor and a programm monitor.

          Yes you are right.but being a process engineering student my study is pocess related.And PLC is a popular controller system.In every manufacturing company PLC is the most important instrument for processing.
